Cardboard Vault runs a newsletter to keep interested parties up-to-date with our most recent posts, the projects we're working on, and other news. Subscription to our newsletter is completely voluntary and is achieved via our website or Facebook page/adverts. The newsletter can be unsubscribed to at any point by emailing: email@example.com.
All email addresses supplied are held in MailChimp databases.

Cardboard Vault occasionally runs prize giveaways. To enter, entrants must supply a name and valid email address. Any information supplied via a competition/prize-giveaway is held in the Squarespace databases.
Any information supplied to Cardboard Vault is held in strict confidence. No information will be shared outside of the company or sold. Cardboard Vault will only request information it needs to fulfil the specified tasks. Information will only be kept as long as it is required, and is necessary.

What type of information do we collect?
We only collect data that you enter into our website, or through third-party advertising, like Facebook Ads. We only ever collect the minimum information required to perform the advertised function.
We currently only have four methods for collecting your data.
You using the ‘Contact Us’ forms on our website, to contact us directly.
You using the ‘Subscribe’ forms on our website, to subscribe to our Newsletter.
You use the Prize Giveaway or Competition forms, to enter the specified event.
Us transferring in data you provided through face-to-face meetings or third-party advertising, like Facebook Ads.
We currently do not offer any products via our site. This means we don’t not ask for, or collect, any payment or login/user information.
Any donations through Ko-Fi are secured and processed by PayPal, and no information from those transactions are provided to us or stored in our databases.
How do we collect information?
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:
To respond to direct contact via the website
To send periodic newsletter to subscribers
To conduct prize giveaways and competitions with entrants
How do we store, use, share and disclose your site visitors' personal information?
Our company website is hosted on the Squarespace platform. Squarespace provides us with the online platform that allows us to provide services to you. Your data may be stored through Squarespace's data storage, databases and the general Squarespace applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
We will NEVER share or disclose your personal information with any other party. If a third party requires information in order to complete an action that you have requested, we will contact you directly to confirm. This is only likely for prize giveaway (or competition) winnings.
How do you communicate with your site visitors?
We will only ever contact you in response to direct communication from you, or through Newsletters, or through direct email in response to prize giveaway (or competition) results.
We don’t use third party tools to track movements and actions on our site, however the underlying platform, Squarespace, can. Please see here for more information.
